Actionaid Donates Motorbikes to Rural Women

[Observer] Actionaid Liberia yesterday donated four brand new motorbikes to rural women in Bong, Grand Gedeh, Montserrado and Gbarpolu counties, to ease their transportation burden while following up cases of mobility in the various communities. The motorbikes were purchased with funds provided by SIDA through the Embassy of Sweden in Liberia.

President Weah Returns Home After Franco-African Summit – Holds Bilateral Talks

[Govt of Liberia] President George Manneh Weah has returned home after a two-day official visit to Brazzaville, Congo where he received a rousing and elaborate welcome. The President was in the Great Lakes Region to honor an invitation as a Special Guest of His Excellency, President Denis Sassou Nguesso on the eve of the Franco-African Summit.
